John Sandifer has over thirty years of experience in the successful representation of large corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals in business disputes. Mr. Sandifer’s practice encompasses the full range of litigation matters, from class actions to partnership and contract disputes, employment litigation, corporate governance disputes, insurance defense, real estate, business torts, intellectual property, construction, and franchise disputes. He engages in all phases of civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution from pre-suit negotiation and mediation to jury trial and appellate work. Mr. Sandifer also routinely assists clients in organizing business entities, drafting and reviewing contracts and corporate documents, and assessing particular business scenarios in the course of clients’ day-to-day business dealings.

Mr. Sandifer is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest University School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Sandifer has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s “AV Preeminent” peer review rating, the highest rating available for legal ability and professional ethics, and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Georgia Super Lawyers in the area of business litigation, an honor awarded to no more than 5% of licensed attorneys in a given state, based upon peer recognition and professional achievements.

Mr. Sandifer has lived in DeKalb County for nearly fifty years. He lives with his wife in Avondale Estates, where they have raised their three children. Mr. Sandifer is a member of North Decatur Presbyterian Church where he serves as an elder and teacher. He served as a youth soccer coach through the Decatur-DeKalb YMCA for twenty seasons, served on the Board of Directors of the Inter Atlanta FC youth soccer organization, and serves on the Board of Directors of Woodlands Garden, a public woodland garden preserve, located in Decatur, Georgia.
